Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and validate Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium complex assemblies.
  • •Partner with senior NPMEs in 3D solid model virtual analysis (MLO and DMU) and provide design-review feedback to drive cost, quality, and cycle time goals.
  • •Execute change control processes (NSRs, ECOs, CCB, SPSs, ESWs) and document product issues/enhancement opportunities including root cause analysis.
  • •Lead the Managed Build process for assemblies/modules and provide technical support and training to Applied and contract manufacturing resources.

Key Requirements

  • •Working knowledge of the NPME role and experience developing, implementing, and releasing new product BOMs for medium-complex assemblies.
  • •Ability to develop and validate Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium complex assemblies.
  • •Experience partnering in 3D solid model virtual analysis, including Master Layout (MLO) and Digital Mock Up (DMU).
  • •Ability to execute change control processes including NSRs, ECOs, CCB, Supplier Problem Sheets (SPSs), and Engineering Specification Waivers (ESWs).
  • •Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in tight spaces, including the use of hand and power tools; may require clean-room PPE.
