Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform planned electrical maintenance per OEM standards and complete work orders.
  • •Conduct preventive maintenance on overhead crane electrical components including VSDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and cabling.
  • •Maintain customer relations through frequent communication.
  • •Prepare accurate service and repair reports in a timely manner.
  • •Comply with safe working standards and environmentally sound behaviors; perform other duties as instructed by the Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Full Grade 12 certificate.
  • •Craft Certificate/Diploma in Automotive Engineering with a specialization in Auto-Electricity.
  • •Valid driver’s license.
  • •Knowledge of Basic First Aid and Basic Health and Safety.
  • •At least 5 years’ experience as a qualified industrial electrician, preferably in the mining environment with maintenance of diesel propelled equipment/drills.
