Job Summary

Maintain and repair mechanical systems in a heavy industrial cement environment. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, rebuilds, repairs, removal and installation of equipment, plus welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, plumbing, and alignment of critical machinery. Document repairs in CMS and follow plant safety standards. Join a team responsible for equipment uptime, with on-the-job training, rotating callout, and potential schedule changes and overtime.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
•Perform rebuilds, repairs, removal and installation for equipment including gearboxes, pneumatic cylinders, air slides, valves, compressors, conveyers, hydraulic equipment, raw mill, finish mill, kiln, and more.
•Perform welding, fabrication, layout, pipe fitting and plumbing.
•Install and align critical equipment for reliable operation.
•Complete documentation and paperwork for repairs and enter follow-up on equipment deficiencies into CMS.

Key Requirements

•High school graduation or equivalent is required.
•Knowledge of mechanical procedures and techniques including rigging, machinery alignment, bearing and seal replacement, lubrication, and reconditioning for maintenance/overhauls.
•Skilled in welding and fabrication.
•Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
•Ability to read blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and instructional/maintenance manuals.
