Job Summary

Join Cox Fleet as a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to perform preventive maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and DOT inspections at customer locations. 100% travel across the region with a rotating Mon-Fri / Mon-Sat schedule. Develop advanced mechanical skills while upholding safety and company policy, contributing to fleet maintenance for light to medium duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities

•Travel to and perform work at customer location, with most of the work performed outside.
•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (“PM”), DOT Inspections and follow up repairs on light and medium vehicles in the field.
•Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment.
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of vehicles, trucks, and equipment including electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Starters/Alternators, Air conditioning systems, engines, and transmissions.
•Document according to company standards, upload pictures of work performed, parts used, and all findings on Repair Orders.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED preferred.
•Valid driver’s license required.

•2 years of equivalent experience in a similar capacity Technician role.
