Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and manage cost aspects of civil and building works from inception to final account, maximizing revenue and minimizing expenditure while maintaining relationships with employer and subcontractors.
  • •Administer subcontractors and company procedures; manage client site instructions, variation orders, and contractual/commercial correspondence.
  • •Collect progress details with the site construction and technical teams; maintain cash flow and budgets with regular (at least monthly) monitoring.
  • •Ensure timely payment application submission and supporting documentation/justifications for client instructions and interim valuations, including cost-to-complete and profitability projections.
  • •Coordinate packages preparation and tendering procedures, place subcontracts on standard approved terms/templates, and secure approved variation orders and back-to-back payment/deductions.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years working experience with at least 5 years relevant quantity surveying experience.
  • •Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering, plus a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying (or related field).
  • •Experience with computer-based quantification and systems such as CCS (Candy).
  • •Knowledge of AutoCAD for quantity takeoff and preparation of Bills of Quantities using standard measurement methods.
  • •ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
