Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform maintenance and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW, 50/60/400Hz generators, including installation and removal in fixed and mobile locations; troubleshoot and repair AC/DC systems, electronic control systems and other program logic controls.
•Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, chillers, and environmental control units, including units mounted on trailers and vehicles.
•Maintain all types of commercial power generation equipment, military-spec generators and UPS systems.
•Operate a load bank during testing and fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals.
•Work in both generator shop and field environments, performing other duties as assigned.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•High School diploma
•BA/BS + 2 years’ experience, AA/AS + 4 years’ experience, or a High School diploma and 7 years’ experience
•Extensive diesel generator experience; knowledge of generator parallel systems and switch gear
•Experience with brazing copper tubing and evacuating and recharging refrigerant
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
