Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with analysts and stakeholders to build GTM models (pipeline, funnel, campaign, revenue) sourced from HubSpot, DealHub, Apollo, and Clay and built in the warehouse/semantic layer.
  • •Design and maintain semantic models for core GTM SaaS metrics, instrument them with alerting, and ensure failures and drift surface early.
  • •Maintain documentation of owned models, metrics, and definitions; stand up internal AI agents and data-grounded tools for trusted GTM answers.
  • •Own the metrics certification framework and catalog, define modeling standards and semantic layer patterns, and arbitrate when teams define the same metric differently.
  • •Mentor analytics engineers and set the technical bar for analytics engineering practices, including patterns in Omni and Hex.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in analytics engineering, including staff or senior IC-level technical direction setting.
  • •Extensive proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and transformation with deep dbt expertise (modeling patterns, macros, packages, testing) including SCD tables from multiple sources.
  • •Expert knowledge of Snowflake, dbt, and a semantic/BI layer such as Omni or Hex; experience designing semantic or metric layers for human and AI consumption.
  • •Experience modeling GTM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM/marketing automation) and resolving cross-team “numbers don’t match” issues.
  • •Ability to set modeling standards others follow, review contributions from outside the team, and mentor with strong communication.
