Job Summary

Oversee HSSE coordination on a large-scale EPCm construction project with a focus on permit-to-work (PTW) processes. Lead site safety, health, security, and environmental activities, ensure compliance with HSSE policies, and train contractors while reporting to the Site HSSE Manager on progress and incidents. Site-based, 12-month temporary assignment in Si Racha, Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

•Report to the Site HSSE Manager and oversee project construction safety, security, health, and environment during the construction and commissioning phases
•Ensure HSSE policies, procedures, and permit to work systems are understood and followed by all site personnel and contractors
•Develop and implement permit to work procedures for all phases of project execution and deliver training on the system
•Ensure timely, concise reporting of HSSE indicators and maintain accurate documentation for regulatory compliance
•Deliver PTW audits to verify the effectiveness of HSSE systems and drive continuous improvement

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in public health (Occupational Health and Safety) or certification as a Professional Safety Officer by the Ministry of Labour
•Minimum of 8 years of substantial experience in an HSSE role in Live Plant, Greenfield, and Turnaround/Revamp work for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or similar types of plants
•Extensive skill and experience in applying worksite HSSE plans regarding HSSE work practices and other HSSE procedures and standards requirements for the worksite
•Comprehensive knowledge of Project Monthly and Weekly Construction Report content, with an understanding of the need for timely, concise, and accurate reporting of HSSE leading and lagging indicators
•Strong HSSE awareness and commitment, including skills and knowledge in the preparation and review of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis, and permit to work systems
