Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the Site HSSE Manager.
  • •Oversee project construction safety, security, health, and environment during construction and commissioning.
  • •Ensure contractors and site personnel comply with HSSE policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures, and client requirements.
  • •Develop procedures, processes, and forms for the permit to work system across project execution phases.
  • •Deliver PTW training and ensure permit to work quality and effectiveness through regular PTW audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in public health (Occupational Health and Safety) or certification as a Professional Safety Officer by the Ministry of Labour.
  • •Minimum of 8 years of substantial HSSE experience in live plant, greenfield, and turnaround/revamp work for oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power plant, or similar plants.
  • •Extensive experience applying worksite HSSE plans, HSSE work practices, and standards requirements for the worksite.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of project monthly and weekly construction report content, including HSSE leading and lagging indicators.
  • •Knowledge and experience preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis, and permit to work systems.
