Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the primary technical leader on-site for EPC civil works, supervising contractors and managing daily OHL construction activities.
  • •Inspect and approve civil works (earthworks, tower foundations, access roads, drainage) to ensure compliance with drawings, method statements, and ITPs.
  • •Review and approve civil drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and geotechnical reports.
  • •Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards and UAE safety regulations, promoting a safety-first culture.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, MEP), attend progress meetings, and submit daily/weekly progress reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • •Minimum of 15 years of experience in Civil engineering, with a focus on overhead transmission line projects.
  • •Extensive knowledge of transmission line design, construction, and maintenance practices, including tower configurations.
  • •Proficiency in engineering software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD; willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours.
