Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and documents across commercial and corporate matters (services, suppliers, branding/marketing, leasing, vendors, confidentiality, IP, employment).
  • •Conduct legal research and draft legal opinions; provide legal advisory on contractual, commercial, and legislative matters.
  • •Assess legal risks and implications of contracts and projects, and recommend compliance and mitigation solutions.
  • •Coordinate litigation and investigations with external law firms, providing evidence/documents and supporting government-related reporting.
  • •Support regulatory affairs: analyze local regulatory actions, respond to inquiries/investigations, represent the company when required, and create compliance checklists.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in law; LLM is advantageous.
  • •3-4 years of progressive experience in a legal role, preferably in e-commerce/technology or an international law firm.
  • •In-depth knowledge of Kuwait laws and regulations for at least 2 years.
  • •Strong negotiation, project/time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • •Fluency in English and Arabic; excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.
