Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and corporate legal documents across services, suppliers, branding/marketing, leasing, vendors, confidentiality, IP, and employment. Provide legal advice to business units and management, assess contract and project risks, and support compliance with Kuwait regulations. Manage litigation and coordinate with external law firms, and handle regulatory inquiries by authorities, including compliance checklists for new products and projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and documents across commercial and corporate matters (services, suppliers, branding/marketing, leasing, vendors, confidentiality, IP, employment).
•Conduct legal research and draft legal opinions; provide legal advisory on contractual, commercial, and legislative matters.
•Assess legal risks and implications of contracts and projects, and recommend compliance and mitigation solutions.
•Coordinate litigation and investigations with external law firms, providing evidence/documents and supporting government-related reporting.
•Support regulatory affairs: analyze local regulatory actions, respond to inquiries/investigations, represent the company when required, and create compliance checklists.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in law; LLM is advantageous.
•3-4 years of progressive experience in a legal role, preferably in e-commerce/technology or an international law firm.
•In-depth knowledge of Kuwait laws and regulations for at least 2 years.
•Strong negotiation, project/time management, and problem-solving skills.
•Fluency in English and Arabic; excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.
