Job Summary

Lead the team responsible for generating ancillary upsell revenue streams during the day of show at The Van Buren. Coordinate with the venue’s core team and the box office manager to ensure smooth execution, troubleshoot guest and upsell issues, and share data- and feedback-driven recommendations. Help ancillary team members upsell events, merchandise, and services, while securing and reconciling day-of-show sales and maintaining on-season inventory.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the team generating upsell revenue streams during the day of show.
•Communicate with the venue’s core team on staffing, upsell availability, and execution of upsell programs.
•Troubleshoot opportunities during the show with guests, upsell availability, and equipment in coordination with the box office manager.
•Provide venue leadership suggestions based on team and guest feedback, including pricing and best practices for presales and show day.
•Secure and reconcile day-of-show ancillary sales; maintain seasonal inventory of ancillary products and assist upselling events, merchandise, and services.

Key Requirements

•Organized and detail oriented, with a strong focus on ancillary sales and maximizing revenue through product bundling.
•Data-driven, metrics-driven approach to reviewing concert data and performance.
•Ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people and provide excellent guest service.
•Strong team building and communication skills to work with and support the venue’s leadership.
•Daytime and evening availability on weekdays and weekends; ability to stand/walk outdoors for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
