Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure a safe work environment and use appropriate tools/equipment for each task.
  • •Properly follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations; report problems to the appropriate leader.
  • •Assist construction/paving crew with shoveling/raking, running wheelbarrow, and safely backing/dumping trucks into the paver.
  • •Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials with shovel.
  • •Dig, spread, and level construction materials; lift/carry supplies; assist with traffic control devices and power tool tasks when needed.
