Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker focusing on consultative sales to identify and meet customers’ financial needs. After a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, earn a certification and then process teller transactions while supporting platform staff. Build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, use marketing tools (e.g., CAMP) to reach out and set appointments, and cross-sell while partnering with mortgage, small business, commercial, and investment teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions using the company value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and other approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and engage in outside sales activities and community financial literacy events as directed.
•Process teller transactions and provide guidance to CSRs on the sales and referral process while meeting customer experience and production goals.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
