Key Responsibilities

  • •Audit, edit, and submit COMSEC operating procedures, semi-annual training, and maintain emergency action plans in accordance with NCSM.
  • •Understand and interpret government COMSEC and cybersecurity documents and provide guidance to employees.
  • •Manage COMSEC material and equipment activities including control, storage, inventory, transfer, packaging, shipping, tracking, and destruction per government directives and procedures.
  • •Implement cybersecurity requirements for SCI programs, including RMF and related NIST documentation, and enforce government directives and company security policies.
  • •Interface with government and prime customer security counterparts and provide after-hours support as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • •Experience with NISPOM, ICD 705, IT-IA-IM and/or NCSM.
  • •Experience with compliance-based auditing using RMF, DCSA DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, and/or non-defense regulations such as FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, or HIPPA.
  • •Experience working with computer technologies such as databases, operating systems, computer network hardware, and software programs.
  • •Within six months of hire, obtain and maintain a security professional certification commensurate with IAM Level I (e.g., Security+ or other).
