Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain residents’ care home facilities, public areas and individual properties to high cleaning standards.
  • •Operate vacuum cleaners, floor polishers and carpet shampooers.
  • •Report safety hazards and ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to, including COSHH.
  • •Clean carpets, upholstery, woodwork, windows and sills; wash clothing, bedding and communal laundry.
  • •Assist with DBS checks, induction and ongoing training as part of the role.
