Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, operate, and optimize ByteDance’s global network (backbone, data centers, public cloud, Edge/CDN).
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams across compute, storage, databases, and recommendation systems to evolve the network.
•Work with external vendors and ISPs for device and carrier selection, and perform testing and verification.
•Participate in ByteDance network global on-call rotation.
•Travel as required (up to 15%–30%).

•Familiarity with data center network architecture such as CLOS.
•Hands-on experience with major network devices (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Juniper, H3C, Huawei) and strong communication/writing skills.
