Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership and guidance for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765kV.
  • •Lead and/or support project execution layout and establish an efficient project plan.
  • •Create and maintain the project schedule, coordinate project status and meetings with clients, and maintain workflow and communication across teams.
  • •Perform transmission line design work including structure staking, foundations, assembly drawings, structure loading, and construction support using PLS-CADD.
  • •Facilitate QA/QC procedures, forecast upcoming requirements for resource planning, and support staff mentorship and industry knowledge transfer.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • •3 to 5 years of relevant post-education engineering experience with mechanical design.
  • •Engineer in Training certification.
  • •Understanding of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95.
  • •Strong transmission line fundamentals with deep understanding of PLS-CADD operation, plus English proficiency and Microsoft Office experience.
