Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead: Manage and delegate activities of the Risk Management team on complex projects or programmes and communicate with Senior Management/Stakeholders to deliver updates.
  • •Accountable for: Briefing the team on project scope, developing leadership relationships with interfacing disciplines, and line management including career development and performance management.
  • •Drive: Continuous improvement in Risk Management processes and the rollout of changes to Risk Management practices.
  • •Promote: Communicate the benefits and requirements of Risk Management within the project and programme team.
  • •Provide: Subject Matter Expertise and expert analysis to stakeholders; training and coaching to clients and junior team members; support management of risk management activities and associated operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Tangible experience in managing and delivering Risk Management on complex projects/programmes is essential.
  • •Experience of interfacing with other project disciplines is essential.
  • •Experience in leading Risk Management teams is essential.
  • •Practical experience of several risk standards or approaches (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA), of Quantitative Risk Analysis and associated software (e.g. Safran, @risk, PRA etc.) and comparative experience of risk tools (ARM, Predict!, Risk Controller, riskHive, Xactium) is essential.
  • •The ability to work in both delivery and transformation projects is desirable.
