Job Summary

Lead delivery and support of the bank’s Enterprise Data Platform, spanning data warehouses, Hadoop, ETL, and reporting/analytics applications. Oversee critical data platforms that enable management decision-making and regulatory and operational reporting. Apply expertise across big data development and architecture (Spark, Kafka, Hive/HBase/HDFS), database skills (Oracle/SQL Server, PL/SQL), and data management to drive production go-lives and support data lake and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide delivery and ongoing support for platforms across Hadoop, data warehouses, ETL, and reporting/analytics applications.
•Handle critical applications impacting management decision-making, regulatory reporting, and operational reporting.
•Manage successful execution of large engagements leading to production go-lives.
•Apply data management fundamentals plus data architecture, modeling, governance, and data security to ensure reliable data operations.
•Support data warehouse to data lake offloading and design frameworks using no-code/low-code technologies.

Key Requirements

•13+ years of total experience in data warehousing and data lake (Hadoop)
•At least 5+ years in big data development, design, and architecture using Spark, Python, Kafka, Sqoop, Ambari, Hive, HBase, and HDFS
•Experience with cloud services for data (Azure/AWS)
•Strong database knowledge in Oracle or SQL Server, including writing SQL and PL/SQL
•Knowledge of Informatica BDM and CDC; plus data management fundamentals and governance/security experience
