Key Responsibilities

•Develop deep learning and operations research models and intelligent systems for global e-commerce supply chain and logistics.
•Predict end-to-end ETA and logistics events (e.g., failed delivery, delivered but not received) using e-commerce big data and deep learning.
•Build logistics network knowledge graphs and predict spatio-temporal package trajectory sequences using deep learning and statistical inference.
•Perform time-series forecasting for sales at different granularities (e.g., warehouse manpower and inventory demand forecasting).
•Develop merchant/merchandise algorithm systems and use machine learning to optimize traffic/conversion, pricing/subsidy strategy, and merchandise growth within cost/profit targets.

Key Requirements

•Completing or recently completed a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•Proficient in machine learning and statistics, including classification, regression, and clustering, with practical application experience.
•Proficient in programming with Python and/or Java, and experience with at least one machine learning/deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
•Experience developing deep learning and operations research models for supply chain/logistics problems.
•Preferred: published research papers in top conferences or participation in data mining/machine learning competitions.
