Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform maintenance of the facility, equipment, and grounds in a timely and cost-efficient manner as scheduled and directed.
  • •Provide on-site service and repair of equipment and meet at least 70% of estimated repair times.
  • •Read electrical and mechanical drawings and use technical manuals to complete repairs.
  • •Collaborate with other departments and manage waste generated from work performed as instructed.
  • •Follow standard OSHA, EPA, and company safe practices and complete the Maintenance Technician 1 training program.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 22 - 26.44 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • •Must meet one of: 6 months First Solar manufacturing experience, or 6 months outside manufacturing/mechanical/agricultural experience, or military experience, or graduate from vocational high school with no experience required.
  • •Verifiable technical skills/background and the ability to work with little supervision.
  • •Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
  • •Knowledge of safe work practices and ability to follow OSHA/EPA/company safety requirements.
