Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, commission, and troubleshoot autonomous retrofit kits on heavy-duty mining equipment at active open-pit sites.
  • •Work on customer sites as part of a deployment crew, often as the sole technical presence.
  • •Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure system health, reliability, and long-term performance.
  • •Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
  • •Monitor and log equipment conditions, communicate professionally with customer personnel, and coordinate with internal engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years hands-on experience as a heavy equipment, diesel, automotive, avionics, industrial controls, or military/vehicle maintenance technician.
  • •Hands-on low-voltage (12/24V DC) electrical work including harness routing, connector termination, crimping, and sensor/actuator installation.
  • •Ability to read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation drawings.
  • •Ability to mobilize on short notice (24–72 hours) and deploy for multi-week rotations (~75% travel).
  • •Valid drivers license and comfort with extreme site conditions (heat/cold, dust, altitude) plus shift work including nights and weekends.
