Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as an Electronics Technician on assigned road projects, working independently or with a small team.
  • •Support federal agencies with migration, upgrades, and installation of physical security infrastructure at electrical substation facilities.
  • •Install electronic and technical security systems and follow DoD/DoS guideline requirements.
  • •Read and interpret electrical/electronic/electro-mechanical schematics and building construction plans (blueprints).
  • •Perform maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and testing of security wiring and power circuits, using test equipment and documenting site test data.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a customer clearance (including local and national background check).
  • •Have a current and valid Driver’s License; may require driving company vehicles.
  • •2 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and servicing Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Physical Access Control (PACS), plus IP video surveillance and related security systems.
  • •High School Diploma (or equivalent) OR graduate of military basic and advanced electronics/communication technician courses (or 5+ years technical experience if not).
  • •Experience installing electronics/electrical systems including access control, CCTV/security cameras, intercoms, mass notification, conduit installation, and low-voltage electrical systems.
