Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop & maintain new and existing software systems & features primarily in Go (Golang) with projects aligned to video content delivery at scale, focusing on reliability, testability and ease of use.
•Ensure a consistent, diligent approach to peer review of code and configuration changes within maintained repository structures and CI/CD pipelines.
•Participate in, or lead design reviews, architectural discussions and team knowledge-sharing sessions with peers and stakeholders.
•Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the organization.
•Collaborate closely with the SRE team to ensure deployed systems are reliable, resilient, scalable and performant, leveraging observability and analytics.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field is required.
•5+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in Go (Golang) and/or Python.
•Proficiency with deploying software to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) using containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
•Skilled with using software repositories, CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
•Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices for ensuring scalability and reliability in cloud environments.
