Job Summary

Support clients in developing and optimizing procurement and funding strategies that enable greener, sustainable outcomes and Net Zero targets. Contribute to business case assessment and the design and implementation of optimal solutions across major programme lifecycles, with a focus on private capital infrastructure development. Work within a multi-disciplined advisory team, communicate insights clearly to stakeholders, and help drive business generation opportunities where appropriate, with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Support clients in developing, implementing, and optimizing procurement and funding strategies for greener, sustainable outcomes aligned to Net Zero targets.
•Assess business challenges, develop optimal solution approaches, and help implement those solutions across programme lifecycle stages.
•Tailor and apply established processes, tools, and systems, contributing to their continuous improvement and development.
•Use interpersonal and influencing skills to support successful adoption and realization of business outcomes for clients.
•Present ideas and outputs clearly, deliver quality work and client care, and identify business generation opportunities where appropriate.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Masters or MBA qualification or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
•Experience of project finance and/or business case development, preferably in de-carbonisation and Net Zero.
•Experience of working with the public sector, managing transactions/projects in a public sector delivery setting.
•Understanding of UK policy guidance development and implementation of economic benefit assessment (including social value and low carbon transition).
•Experience in de-carbonisation and Net Zero technologies/services, ideally including hydrogen, electric/zero emissions and hybrid transport infrastructure, batteries, and carbon capture storage.
