Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the hub-and-spoke cloud↔edge contract to keep on-prem nodes operational through DDIL conditions and reconcile cleanly on reconnect.
  • •Implement identity federation and degraded authentication, including cached-credential auth and RBAC propagation to edge spokes.
  • •Drive data reconciliation and state consistency across cloud and edge, including migration and bilateral consistency ownership.
  • •Automate propagation of cloud architecture changes (e.g., DSB, NCC hub-spoke, DNS) to every edge NixOS closure to prevent config drift.
  • •Define and test failover/reconnect behavior against the High-Availability / DDIL ConOps while mentoring the sub-team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret / SCI Clearance.
  • •Strong software background with systems languages such as Go, Rust, or Python.
  • •Distributed-systems fundamentals including consensus, conflict resolution, and eventual consistency.
  • •Cloud architecture depth (GCP preferred) and comfort operating at the edge/on-prem (bare-metal deployments).
  • •Willing to travel as needed.
