Key Responsibilities

•Carry out assigned civil design and documentation as delegated in support of technical and commercial standards.
•Lead projects based on scope, complexity or specific request and supervise teams.
•Identify business development opportunities and support proposal preparation within area of expertise.
•Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and project specifications; effectively communicate complex technical matters to clients.
•Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality oversight to Civil Design staff.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or equivalent
•Ideally 10+ years of industry experience on Australian projects
•Proficient in geometric highway design using BIM software (Civil 3D, 12D, OpenRoads, Dynamo, OpenRail, ProjectWise, Bluebeam, Navisworks, InfraWorks) or equivalent
•Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards and local road/civil design standards
•Understanding of safety in design practices with emphasis on road safety outcomes
