Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out assigned civil design and documentation as delegated in support of technical and commercial standards.
  • •Lead projects based on scope, complexity or specific request and supervise teams.
  • •Identify business development opportunities and support proposal preparation within area of expertise.
  • •Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and project specifications; effectively communicate complex technical matters to clients.
  • •Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality oversight to Civil Design staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or equivalent
  • •Ideally 10+ years of industry experience on Australian projects
  • •Proficient in geometric highway design using BIM software (Civil 3D, 12D, OpenRoads, Dynamo, OpenRail, ProjectWise, Bluebeam, Navisworks, InfraWorks) or equivalent
  • •Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards and local road/civil design standards
  • •Understanding of safety in design practices with emphasis on road safety outcomes
