Job Summary

Financial Controller Manager leading the France Finance team at a multinational insurer. You will oversee monthly US GAAP closings and annual French GAAP closing, ensure high quality financial reporting, maintain SOX controls, and coordinate with shared service centers in Poland and India. You’ll manage a team of four controllers, drive process improvements, and support group-wide finance transformations in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and coordinate monthly closings (US GAAP) and annual closing (French GAAP); ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
•Oversee financial statement production and annual tax declarations; ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
•Supervise account reviews and complex items; drive continuous improvement of finance processes.
•Manage and develop a team of four controllers; align activities with shared services centers in Poland and India.
•Participate in group projects and finance transformation initiatives; foster collaboration and operational excellence.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Finance or Accounting (DSCG or equivalent); 8-10 years of experience, preferably in audit or accounting, with prior management experience.
•Solid mastery of accounting standards and fluent business English; ability to lead and develop a team.
•Strong knowledge of US GAAP and French GAAP closings; experience with SOX/internal controls.
•Ability to coordinate with shared service centers (Poland and India) and drive process improvements.
•Autonomy, rigor, prioritization, and strong communication in a dynamic, agile environment.
