Key Responsibilities

  • •Under minimal supervision, communicate with Production and QA teams to correct deficiencies and ensure proper product handling.
  • •Monitor production lines and paperwork to ensure specification compliance for each product.
  • •Verify and help enforce GMPs, including correct labeling, lot codes, sealing, and stacking.
  • •Verify receiving of incoming raw materials and ingredients; notify relevant leaders if products do not meet specifications.
  • •Perform microbiological swabs/sampling on correct schedule and support that quality and food safety policies are followed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • •Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance or 6 months as a Wayne Farms employee.
  • •Intermediate math skills and computer skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • •Strong attention to detail.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written); multilingual communication preferred.
