Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical delivery of drainage designs, stormwater management plans, and hydraulic assessments for local council clients and major infrastructure projects.
  • •Provide specialised hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using tools such as Civil3D, 12D, TUFLOW, DRAINS, URBS, RORB, XP-Rafts and WBNM.
  • •Develop practical solutions to drainage, flooding, and water quality challenges.
  • •Write high-quality technical and non-technical reports, and support project teams with technical guidance, mentoring, and quality assurance.
  • •Engage clients, regulators, and stakeholders to provide trusted technical advice and contribute to winning work while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •5–15 years of drainage/flood modelling industry experience.
  • •Experience planning, hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater and drainage networks, or hydrologic modelling/assessments.
  • •Confidence using tools such as Civil 3D or 12d, and/or TUFLOW or similar hydraulic modelling, plus hydrologic tools like URBS and/or XP-Rafts.
  • •Strong technical capability across underground and surface water drainage systems.
  • •RPEQ, or ability to apply for RPEQ (preferred).
