Job Summary

Operate straight or articulated rubber-tired equipment with front-mounted bucket/scoop to lift, transport, and load bulk materials for trucks or railcars. Receive and record customer orders, weigh trucks, enter tickets on computer, and balance cash receipts while maintaining accurate financial records. Perform daily safety checks and pre-shift inspections, maintain the loader area, roll samples for quality control, and complete routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning. Travel between nearby locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive, record, and distribute customer orders to the dispatcher and assist customers upon requests for service.
•Weigh trucks, enter tickets on computer, and maintain accurate financial records including balancing cash receipts and deposits.
•Operate loader equipment to move aggregates between areas and load OTR trucks to maintain cycle time while preventing damage.
•Perform pre-shift inspections, complete daily safety checks, and maintain the loader area (roads, stockpiles, berms).
•Roll samples for Quality Control technicians and perform routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or minimum of one year related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).
•Must have computer skills through experience or classes to enter tickets and run required processes.
•Ability to communicate with vendors, service providers, and all levels of employees.
•Knowledge of equipment, work areas (yard/pit/stockpiles), products and arrangements, and weight limits on OTR trucks.
•Ability to read and interpret safety/operating documents and follow instructions; write routine reports and correspondence.
