Job Summary

Develop and deploy high-fidelity, automated test procedures spanning component validation through system-level checkouts and end-of-line factory acceptance testing for AUVs. Own test plans and execution to de-risk electromechanical hardware, perform hands-on data-driven root-cause analysis, and build semi-automated test equipment/protocols. Maintain test logs and error code libraries, generate technician-friendly instructions in MES/test execution systems, and partner with design and systems teams on risk assessments and production test deployment.

•Develop, execute, and manage a testing ecosystem to de-risk hardware and support reliability targets and design intent.
•Perform hands-on, data-driven root-cause analysis of electromechanical subsystems using structured problem-solving methodologies.
•Design and implement semi-automated testing equipment and protocols for subsystem characterization and reliability/environmental testing.
•Collaborate with design/systems teams, produce and maintain testing logs/data, and generate controlled technician instructions in MES or other test execution systems.

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, EE/Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
•Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems (LabVIEW, Test Stand, etc.).
•Programming proficiency in languages such as Python, Matlab, SHELL, or others.
•Experience with computer hardware communication protocols including USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, etc.
•3+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably test design of electro-mechanical hardware in a manufacturing environment.
