Key Responsibilities

  • •Join the global middle office trade support allocation technology team based in Tokyo and collaborate with counterparts worldwide.
  • •Investigate and resolve middle office allocation issues in Fidessa CTAC, including CTM, FIX 4.4, tag 1 pre-allocation, allocation templates, and manual allocation workflows.
  • •Status and troubleshoot blocks sent to Fidessa CTAC from upstream global Fidessa trading platforms and from Jefferies proprietary systems.
  • •Troubleshoot affirmed allocations passing from Fidessa CTAC to downstream Jefferies systems and perform post-release application checkouts.
  • •Learn and support an in-house Jefferies application integrated with Fidessa CTAC, submit JIRAs for enhancements/bug fixes, and participate in designing new CTAC allocation functionality.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in investment/financial markets across equity business (cash/ETs/swap/derivative/FX, etc.).
  • •Knowledge of global equity trading and allocation workflows.
  • •Familiarity with Fidessa CTAC module and Fidessa FDM.
  • •Strong working knowledge of FIX and preferred ability to write SQL queries.
  • •Experience supporting a trading or allocation system from a technology perspective (e.g., configuring layouts, updating registry files, installing and launching applications).
