Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform civil safety assessment activities per ARP4761, including FHAs, PSSAs, SSAs, Fault Tree Analysis (FTAs), and Common Mode Analyses (CMAs).
  • •Support systems, hardware, and software engineering teams in defining system safety requirements during development.
  • •Review design and development documentation for safety-critical equipment and analysis outputs.
  • •Review work of peer safety engineers and mentor/train less experienced safety engineers.
  • •Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and organizational leaders to develop safety plans and influence system-level design decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
