Job Summary

Design and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, using DAX measures, KPIs, and row-level security to support role-based access. Build scalable data models by integrating ETL data from SQL Server, BigQuery, MySQL, and Excel, including transformations via Power Query. Partner with business and product stakeholders, optimize report performance, automate refresh workflows with Power Automate, and collaborate with data engineering teams to improve pipeline efficiency using cloud platforms like GCP and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

•Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (including SQL Server, Excel, and BigQuery), ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
•Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports with appropriate filters, calculated columns/measures/KPIs, and improved readability (tooltips, labels, formats).
•Implement row-level security (RLS) and automate dataset refresh using Scheduled Refresh for up-to-date reporting.
•Collaborate with business users and leadership to gather reporting requirements, present insights, and support data literacy through training sessions.
•Optimize Power BI performance by improving DAX queries and data models, monitoring refresh failures, and resolving bottlenecks and discrepancies.

Key Requirements

•Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards aligned to business requirements.
•Build and optimize data models using DAX, Power Query, and best practices for data accuracy and integrity.
•Integrate and transform data using ETL from sources such as SQL Server, Excel, BigQuery, and MySQL.
•Implement row-level security (RLS) and apply report filters to support role-based access and usability.
•Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve issues such as refresh failures and performance bottlenecks.
