Key Responsibilities

  • •Structure and master the process of bids/offers as defined under Chorus (Thales reference framework).
  • •Capture needs during kick-off with domain stakeholders and establish a data input reference framework to craft a solution meeting the requirement.
  • •Define with disciplines the required engineering activities (deliverables, milestones, interdependencies) and develop the cost-estimation strategy aligned to market targets and development plan.
  • •Create risk and opportunity registers for engineering disciplines; organize and coordinate solution orientation reviews and design validation with the Design Authority.
  • •Verify and validate cost estimates provided by teams (assumptions, exclusions, planning, development strategy, technical content).

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as Engineering Manager, Technical Project Manager, Software Engineering Manager (SwEM) or Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) in complex engineering environments, preferably defense.
  • •Strong knowledge of system engineering life cycles (IVVQ) and upfront engineering methods.
  • •Ability to lead and manage technical projects, engage diverse stakeholders, and drive decisions under uncertainty.
  • •Experience in structuring and pricing engineering solutions for offers, including defining deliverables, milestones, and interdependencies.
  • •Proven ability to coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and suppliers, ensuring commitments are met and knowledge is captured for future reuse.
