Job Summary

Assist clients in originating residential mortgage loans by analyzing needs and advising on home lending solutions. Prospect and develop referral relationships to grow the client base, and originate/process a targeted volume of family residential transactions in line with product and process guidelines. Serve as the primary client point of contact from document gathering through closing, maintain sales/workflow system proficiency, and ensure strong client satisfaction and loan quality while staying current on market and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect and develop new client loan origination relationships and home lending business.
•Originate and process residential real estate mortgage transactions following home lending process and product guidelines.
•Provide clients with detailed mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Gather documents at loan registration and act as the primary point of contact through the loan process.
•Maintain client satisfaction and loan quality, ensure sales/originator workflows are controlled, and stay current on real estate market and mortgage industry trends.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience as a loan officer in first mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, RESPA regulations, and local/state real estate and finance laws (preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•Excellent written and verbal communication with strong customer service skills.
•Proficiency in sales and service skills, including tele-consulting, prospecting, networking, and COI relationship management.
