Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the customs clearance process from pre-entry through final release (data capture, validation, payment, modulation).
  • •Ensure customs entries (pedimentos) are accurately documented, compliant, and fully supported.
  • •Coordinate with on-site customs agents to expedite loading and unloading activities.
  • •Review, authorize, validate, and manage corrections/clarifications with customs authorities prior to payment and processing.
  • •Monitor shipment status, ensure timely clearance/release, and maintain organized compliant digital and physical documentation files.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or a related field.
  • •4 years of experience in customs clearance operations, preferably within the construction materials supply sector.
  • •Proven experience working directly with customs brokers and conducting on-site cargo inspections.
  • •English proficiency with strong conversational ability.
  • •Strong knowledge of Mexican Customs Law, regulations, and current Foreign Trade General Rules (RGCE).
