Key Responsibilities

  • •Work as R&D’s vital link to manufacturing by transferring product knowledge and supporting fire business manufacturing engineering requirements.
  • •Lead NPI and VAVE projects for Fire Products, including teardown, cost-out delivery, and change management execution.
  • •Support industrialization by providing product expertise during NPI phases, production feasibility assessment, and part approval process (PPAP).
  • •Ensure product compliance to global design standards (IEC, UL, CSA, NEMA, EN54, UL268/UL521) and support calibration activities for detector products.
  • •Assess test results, perform root cause analysis, drive corrective/preventive actions, and maintain reliability predictions and FMEA updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • •5+ years’ experience in NPI, VAVE, or resourcing projects for product engineering.
  • •5+ years’ experience in industrialization of electrical and electronic products.
  • •Knowledge of Fire/Smoke detection systems (an advantage).
  • •Proficiency with PLM/change management tools such as Enovia and SAP; DFSS Green Belt certification is an added advantage.
