Job Summary

Assist clients with the origination of residential mortgage loans by providing guidance on home lending solutions that match their needs and financial goals. Prospect and develop new client relationships, originate and process family residential mortgage transactions, and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the loan process. Meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining high client satisfaction and loan quality in a branch environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect and develop new home lending business, client loan originations, and relationships.
•Originate and process a targeted number of family residential real estate mortgage transactions following process and product guidelines.
•Provide clients detailed information on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Gather loan documents at registration and remain the primary client point of contact through the loan process.
•Deliver in-branch in-person client services 4+ days/week and maintain proficiency in sales/originator systems and workflows.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience as a loan officer in first mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and RESPA regulations (preferred).
•Ability to originate and process residential real estate mortgage transactions in line with home lending process and product guidelines.
•Strong communication and customer service skills.
•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
