Job Summary

Oversee and direct quarry/aggregate mining crew operations at the plant, including personnel, equipment, trucking, and materials. Supervise the crew to ensure proper placement of resources, complete required daily reporting, and maintain job records. Lead safety with weekly Toolbox Talks and internal safety inspections, collaborate with Quality Control, and track equipment usage and reporting while maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and direct operations of an aggregates mining crew, including personnel, equipment, trucking, and materials.
•Supervise and direct the crew to ensure proper placement of resources.
•Complete required daily reporting and maintain job records such as schedules, progress, payroll, equipment, and safety inspections.
•Conduct weekly safety Toolbox Talks and internal safety inspections to ensure safety policies are practiced and enforced.
•Collaborate with Quality Control on specification requirements and track/record fuel usage, hour meter readings, and mileage reporting for equipment.

Key Requirements

•3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent education and experience).

•Ability to supervise by planning, assigning, and directing work and managing employee performance through coaching and feedback.
•Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures and to company policies and procedures.
