Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide nursing assessments, health screenings, vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care within the LVN scope of practice.
  • •Assist with evaluation and management of acute and chronic conditions, including pediatric patients.
  • •Conduct intake health screenings, document health histories and immunization status, and support communicable disease screening and infection control.
  • •Apply trauma-informed care, observe and document behavioral health concerns, and use de-escalation and motivational interviewing while meeting mandatory reporting requirements.
  • •Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records, respond to emergencies, and coordinate transfers for higher levels of care as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 30 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Current, unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the State of Louisiana.
  • •Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, urgent care, community health, public health, correctional health, or residential care setting.
  • •Current First Aid and CPR certification (must be maintained throughout employment).
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (up to and including a Tier 4 DHS clearance).
  • •Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident with proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
