Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct primary and secondary reviews of complex tax returns and provide income, estate, and gift tax planning strategies for high-net-worth clients
  • •Lead and manage multiple client service teams on engagements; plan, execute, and complete tax projects while assisting in proposals and budgeting
  • •Mentor and develop staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagements and year-end reviews
  • •Research and consult on federal estate, gift, charitable planning, and generation-skipping tax matters; utilize tax software to prepare returns and research tax matters
  • •Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, deadlines, and relationships; support business development activities at clients

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting - CPA or licensed member of the Bar or Enrolled Agent designation (with Masters Degree) required
  • •Minimum six to ten years of progressive tax compliance and/or consulting experience in Family Wealth Planning or related area in public accounting or a combination of industry and public accounting experience
  • •Experience in dealing with family units with $25 million and above in net worth, and a proven track record of implementation of tax strategies
  • •Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills
  • •Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
