Job Summary

Senior-level structural engineering professional delivering multidisciplinary design projects (industrial, data center, and PEB buildings) from feasibility through to construction. Responsible for stability checks, foundation and concrete element design, steel connections, cost estimation, tender preparation, shop drawing review, and coordinating with lead engineers to ensure technical excellence on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare feasibility studies and coordinate with the Lead Engineer to meet project brief requirements.
•Assemble design specifications compliant with Employer’s Requirements and monitor their delivery by due dates.
•Define and monitor the scope of works with Principal/Lead Engineer and ensure timely delivery.
•Review calculations and provide QA checks, technical reviews, and final sign‑off for designed elements.
•Adhere to document control and QA processes, coach junior staff, and ensure proper filing of drawings, specifications, and reports.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; membership to an accredited engineering body (Master’s preferred).
•Experience: 8 to 12 years of relevant building experience.
•Desirable to be working towards UK Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
