Job Summary

Support delivery of Human Resources services, EDI initiatives, corporate culture programs, and office communications for Hudbay’s corporate office. Help with year-end compensation and performance processes, manage onboarding and offboarding logistics, maintain HR data and HRIS updates, and support compensation surveys and recognition programs. Coordinate the EDI speaker series and draft company-wide diversity and culture communications, while advancing inclusive workplace initiatives aligned to TSM EDI/ESG goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide support during year-end performance evaluations and compensation reviews for corporate employees.
•Review and track the mining industry TSM EDI protocol and recommend program enhancements to achieve and sustain an “A” rating.
•Coordinate the EDI speaker series logistics over the next 12 months.
•Draft and lead company-wide communications for diversity calendars, corporate initiatives, and workplace culture updates.
•Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, maintain employee personnel files, process employee movements, and compile baseline HR data reports as requested.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 75,000 - 95,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources generalist, specialist, or corporate culture role.
•Experience running corporate onboarding programs and writing internal diversity/culture communications, including supporting year-end talent processes.
•Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communications, or an equivalent field.
•Foundational understanding of Ontario employment law, human rights legislation, and corporate HR policies.
•Deep understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and unconscious bias mitigation, with the ability to translate policy into inclusive workplace initiatives.
