Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct segments of major electrical projects and apply engineering concepts, techniques, and technical problem-solving.
  • •Monitor project progress for technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget, including QA/QC compliance.
  • •Perform and review electrical calculations and designs (loads, equipment sizing, feeder sizing, load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, selective coordination, arc flash; lighting; grounding; MCC; and standby/emergency power).
  • •Coordinate and review electrical infrastructure design plans, including one-line/three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, substation layouts, grounding grid and lightning protection, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • •Oversee cross-functional teams, manage budgets/schedules/expenses, prepare technical reports/presentations, and develop/implement site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for capital projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution.
  • •Engineer license required.
  • •Highly proficient in electrical engineering principles and infrastructure design, including permitting and project work-related issues.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical and construction laws/codes and regulations (including NFPA 70-NEC, NFPA 130, and NFPA 101).
