Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage billing email inbox and respond to customer billing inquiries and change requests.
  • •Process and post paper checks, deposits, and electronic payments; maintain billing and collections workflows.
  • •Monitor overdue accounts, conduct proactive collection calls, and manage collections escalations with outside agencies and legal teams as needed.
  • •Handle service disconnects and manage billing cases within the CommandLink Platform, ensuring accurate case documentation.
  • •Review and process overage billing, apply credit risk data (Creditsafe/D&B) to collections strategy, and track/report payment activity and trends.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field, or 3–5 years of billing and collections experience.
  • •Strong understanding of billing and collections policies and procedures.
  • •Experience with billing systems such as NetSuite and/or similar platforms.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Excel for manipulating and analyzing data sets.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and conflict-resolution/problem-solving ability.
