Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide birth and postpartum doula care as an independent contractor within Loula’s network.
  • •Submit the interest form and complete screening questions as part of the application process.
  • •Participate in an introductory call if you meet the minimum qualifications and are located in California.
  • •Work with Loula’s care-navigation and referral matching program to connect with insured clients.
  • •Leverage Loula-managed insurance verification, medical billing, and payment operations so you can focus on client care.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Completed 16 hours of birth doula training and attended 3 births as a doula, OR 5 years of doula experience with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •If you don’t yet have CPR, HIPAA training, liability insurance, or letters of recommendation, you can still reach out for support setting up requirements.
