Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare instrument design basis, general and detailed engineering specifications, and detailed engineering databases using current tools.
  • •Create control valve data sheets; prepare field instrument datasheets/enquiry specifications for flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analyzers.
  • •Size control valves, flow elements, and field instruments to international standards; prepare order specifications and support techno-commercial offer evaluation with technical recommendations.
  • •Review vendor drawings/approval and coordinate with manufacturing for instrument testing and calibration per project requirements.
  • •Create inspection and test plans; support inspection/testing, installation supervision, instrument loop checking, and ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in basic and detailed engineering of instrumentation and control systems, including testing and commissioning.
  • •Hands-on experience using SPI Intools for instrumentation engineering and related engineering database work.
  • •Experience sizing flow instruments and control valves using tools like Conval and Flowcal.
  • •Domain knowledge in refinery, petrochemicals, pipeline, and oil & gas.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (BE/B Tech) in Instrumentation and Control.
