Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the roadmap and strategic direction for key platform infrastructure components, aligned to Auth0’s broader platform strategy.
  • •Lead cloud resilience initiatives including Geo HA failover mechanisms, AWS PrivateLink implementations, and service-only failovers for “four nines” reliability.
  • •Define infrastructure strategy for MCP enablement so autonomous LLMs and AI agents can securely authenticate and invoke APIs via Auth0’s “Auth for MCP” framework.
  • •Design and implement intelligent, multi-dimensional rate-limiting strategies to protect stability and support massive bursting and AI agent identities.
  • •Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Go-To-Market teams; act as the bridge between technical engineering work and customer-facing value.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of product management experience, with a significant portion focused on highly technical, backend, infrastructure, or platform products at an enterprise SaaS company.
  • •Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • •Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP), agentic workflows, and securing machine-to-machine (M2M) or agent-to-tool communications (e.g., token exchange, delegated authorization, OAuth 2.1).
  • •Ability to work with engineering on complex data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis), API gateways, rate-limiting algorithms, and high-availability database failovers.
  • •Data-driven product mindset with experience defining, tracking, and optimizing operational metrics and SLAs.
